Our Travel Consultants
From its’ inception, Maupin Travel’s reputation has been based on value and quality service. Maupin’s philosophy is to take care of its’ employees who, in turn, will take care of its’ customers. Maupin’s management structure is based on an inverted pyramid beginning with our President and the senior management team at the bottom of the pyramid. The middle level includes all employees, followed by the top level-our customers. The layers of our structure center on a strong foundation of senior management staff, a mid-level of branch managers and the employees at each office (including support personnel) with the top layer, a rapidly-growing and fiercely loyal customer base.
Maupin's consultants are recruited for their experience levels and knowledge of the industry. Their "can do" attitude is paramount to our success. Our consultants strive to make travel arrangements for our customers that provide a quality experience at a reasonable price. A satisfied client is what continues to drive us each and every day.
The family atmosphere and "open door policy" with management promotes not only communication within the company culture but allows our customers access to the highest levels of senior management. Maupin's "hands-on work environment" is carefully supervised with an empowered mentality to "do what it takes" to succeed. With an emphasis on continual training and educational opportunities, Maupin's travel consultants are the best you’ll find anywhere. Maupin encourages and supports the consultants in continuing educational studies such as the industry-Certified Travel Associate (CTA) and Certified Travel Consultant (CTC) designations. In addition to these titles, Maupin encourages its consultants to specialize in certain areas and obtain our Destination Specialist (DS) designations. These continuing education programs, training and experience levels ensure our customers of qualified consultants who have, or can find, the answers to their travel inquiries.
